As with hotels and their stars, we have chosen to have our rentals classified,
in order to guarantee you impeccable and identical quality.
The classification criteria set requirements on the level of comfort and quality of service,
which are checked every 5 years by a control body accredited by Cofrac.
This check is declared regardless of the classification category.
It is carried out on the basis of the classification criteria in force.
The main principles of the classification
The classification of furnished tourist accommodation is voluntary
. It includes 5 categories ranging from 1 to 5 stars and is valid for 5 years, at the end of which period the lessor must submit a new classification request,
if he wishes his accommodation to continue to benefit from a classification.
The classification criteria
The classification grid contains 133 criteria divided into 3 main chapters: equipment, customer services, accessibility and sustainable development.
The classification procedure
The furnished accommodation lessor (or his agent) must have his furnished accommodation inspected.
He contacts an organization of his choice from among those on the list of organizations accredited by the French Accreditation Committee (COFRAC) or the list of organizations referred to in 2° of Article L. 324-1 of the Tourism Code.
Within one month of the furnished accommodation inspection, the organization that carried out the inspection sends the lessor (or his agent) an inspection certificate that includes 3 documents, the models of which are set by the amended decree of 2 August 2010 published in the Official Journal of 8 May 2012:
- the inspection report
- the inspection grid duly completed by the assessment organization
- a proposed classification decision.
You will find these documents in our welcome booklet.
